DSCF0124I don’t have to tell you that health care reform is at a critical juncture. As you know, the Senate HELP Committee included the Community Living and Supportive Services Act (CLASS) Act in their health reform legislation. This decision affirms their commitment to the millions of people who need and provide long-term services and supports.

But that’s just one part of our Congress. Now, it’s up to the House to incorporate the CLASS Act into their health reform legislation. Members of the House Ways and Means, Energy and Commerce and Education and Labor Committees play a pivotal role in making this happen. That’s why we’re asking our members whose representative serve on these committees to contact their legislators today. 

 Please make a toll-free call to 1-866-459-2036 and urge your representative to include  the CLASS Act in the House’s health care reform bill.  The lines will be open from 9 a.m. and 6 p.m Eastern Time.  There’s a sample script you can use at the end of the post.
